Sri S K Sinha Member (Planning) is given as additional charge as Secretary Department of Posts consequent on the superannuation of Smt. Kaveri Benarjee on 30-04-2016. The arrangement is for a period of 3 months or till regular arrangement is made.

 

I have addressed a letter to Chief Postmanster General AP Circle on supply of vehicles to the divisions which was acknowledged by CO and directed AD (Mails) to look into the same. I am sorry to note that the divisional heads are still using the condemned vehicles for inspections which is risky and the same is pointed out in my letter. I will pursue the matter further and if any need it will be taken up with Directorate also.
